Restaurant & Bar
A convivial evening in The Timber Batts, celebrating Burns Night in true Scottish tradition

Joel presents the haggis to a packed restaurant on Burns Night.

View from the bar
You can always be assured of a warm welcome from Joel and the staff, no matter whether you are dining with us or have just come along for a leisurely lunchtime or evening at our friendly bar.

While you're here, apart from our fine wines, don't forget to try one of our house beers - Woodforde's Wherry or Adnams Bitter .

The locals rave about them and otherscome from miles around !

On the food front, what's on offer wouldn't be out of place in a French brasserie.

So you may well find Moules farcie, Gambas sautées a l'ail and Salade de chèvre chaud available as starters,

Confit de Canard, Filet de Boeuf Grillé and Mignon de Porc  among the mains.

Desserts are traditional, with probably Crème brûlée; Profiteroles and Tart Tatin' likely to be among the offerings.

Note that the menu changes daily, so there is always wide and varied choice.
